Individual Immersion in the South of France

2 to 5 days intensive at the foothill of a medieval village in the South of France (Cordes-Sur-Ciel), 1h from Toulouse.

Tailored to your own needs. Individual sessions, immersion in Nature, time for integration, herbal medicine and nourishing foods.

We will start where you are and use the elements present in your life at the moment to uncover what will unfold. We will have 1:1 time to explore your Feminine Essence & your relationship with Nature + time for experiential teaching around plants medicine.

We will also spend time in Nature & developing your ability to listen to Earth Wisdom. You will also have time on your own to let things cook in your inner cauldron and for integration.

Food and herbal medicine are also an important part to give you a foundation in body, mind, soul self-care.

We will explore plant knowledge & herbal medicine making during our time together so that you can continue to explore Plant wisdom on your own. We will gather wild plants & also work with the Plants that I grow on my small farm.

We will explore Nature around here: caves, valleys, rivers, red land… and deeply listen to what She has to tell us.

Please note: It is not required for you to be able to walk long distance,to be a fast or strong walker, as we will take plenty of time to feel into the Land but it is advised to have a certain level of fitness so that we can go on some walks in Nature.

The local area:

Cordes is situated in the SouthWest of France about 1 1/2 away from Toulouse (1 hour by train), in the Tarn. It is a medieval cité which has kept many of its ancient building, perched on a hilltop, and sometimes surrounded by the mist coming from the river below (hence its name “sur ciel” = “on the sky”)

It was built in 1222 as a refuge for the “heretics”: Cathars or Bons Homme (Good Men) or Albigensians. The Cathars regon is often known as the Aude but the Tarn was also at the Heart of the Cathar region (the albigiensians crusades takes its name from Albi, a town 30min away). They were considered a powerful treat to the Church at that time and many say that they held the true teachings of Jesus & Mary Magdalene and lived a simple life opposed to the riches of the church. They held the knowledge of the true Art of Love. There is certainly on all Cathar lands, a strong energy of “resistants” (as it also appeared during WWII) who are willing to follow what feels true to their Heart despite the established order around them who often react with violence.

This is an area that has kept its wildness, and many beautiful natural sites and other medieval villages about within 30min radius, which we might explore during your stay.

This is also close to where my grandparents on both side live, and although I did spend many Sundays in my childhood nearby, I never knew the Land as I do now. I had exiled myself from my roots and lived abroad for over 15 years and never thought I would come back in this area, but the land conspired to call me closer and welcomed me with Her arms wide open. I discovered a long lost intimacy, connected with the history that happened on her body, immersed myself in Her wild landscape, observing Her change throughout the season, harvested Her medicine and I keep discovering many of Her hidden gems. This is my relationship with Her that I want to share with you.

  • Cordes and its surrounding, caves, viewpoint over the valley
  • Laguépie ans its meeting of two rivers and unspoiled scenery not accessible by car
  • Plenty of wild swimming spots in rivers, some not easily accessible so very secluded
  • Saint Antonin and its popular sunday market, and breathtaking cliffs and landscapes carved by the river Aveyron
  • Medieval villages of Bruniquel, Penne,Puycelsi
  • Plenty of walks in nature with varied landscape from dry lands market by dry stone walls and oak trees (“Causses”) to lush green valleys and forests.

When to come

A different feel for each season:

WINTER: Enjoy the quiet & stillness of nature, and have nature for ourselves as few people are around. Winter can be rany, or dry & sunny, but generally not very cold (although there sometimes can be below zero temperature in January/February). I love this season to develop a deep listening, dive deeper into our beings, nourishing ourselves.

SPRING: The time of renewal & energy popping everywhere. This is ideal if you want to explore plant medicine; not too hot – but sometimes rainy depending on the year – and still fairly quiet, so we can enjoy time in nature.

SUMMER: I’ll admit it’s my least favorite season! Can get too hot (for me!), often over 40°C in July, August. Lots of people in Nature, so we’ll need to walk further to get some quiet space. But this is ideal for wild swimming, spending the night under the stars & do cacao ceremonies in nature. Abundance of plants, seasonal food. We might need to have early morning/late evenings & day time siesta during the hottest days!

AUTUMN: Another wonderful season, it’s often still hot/warm until late October (20-25°C), much quieter in Nature & amazing colours! Also the time of wild harvesting: some berries & fruits, nuts & sweet chestnuts as well as collecting seeds & roots medicine.
